What We Handle
We do the physical layer of an AP deployment: pulling Cat6 (or Cat6a for high-density / Wi-Fi 6E and 7 backhaul) from the IDF to each AP location, mounting the AP cleanly to ceiling tile, drywall, hard ceiling, or pole, terminating the PoE side at the patch panel, and verifying the link.
We work with your IT team or MSP on the AP commissioning side — SSID config, RADIUS, VLAN tagging, etc. is theirs; the cabling, mounting, and link verification is ours. If you don't have an MSP and need commissioning too, we can recommend partners.
Pre-Deployment Site Survey
For warehouses, schools, hospitals, hotels, and multi-floor offices, a pre-deployment survey is worth the cost. We use Ekahau Sidekick or NetAlly EtherScope to map signal coverage, identify dead zones, and plan AP placement against your floor plan. The output is a PDF heat map and an AP count recommendation that's right-sized to your space (rather than oversold).
Common AP Mounting Scenarios
- Drop ceiling — standard T-bar mount with the cable above and the AP visible below the tile
- Hard ceiling — surface mount with toggle anchors or a junction box
- Wall mount — for high-ceiling warehouse or gym installations
- Outdoor — weatherproof enclosures, exterior PoE with surge protection
- Discreet — in-wall, in-ceiling, or behind-the-fixture installs where aesthetics matter (offices, conference rooms, hospitality)
