CCTV & IP Camera Cabling
Cat6 cable runs from cameras back to your NVR or PoE switch, weatherproof terminations on outdoor cameras, and proper conduit where the cable's exposed. We handle the cabling and pathways; you or your security integrator handle the cameras and software.

What We Cable
- Indoor IP camera drops — Cat6 from each camera location back to a centralized PoE switch or NVR, terminated and tested
- Outdoor / exterior camera drops — weatherproof gel-filled terminations, UV-rated cable in direct-sun locations, conduit where required by code or exposure
- Parking-lot pole-mount cameras — conduit runs from building penetration to pole base, terminations at the pole, surge protection on long outdoor runs
- PoE injector and switch installation — PoE+ and PoE++ as required by camera power draw, proper PoE budget calculation
- NVR/recorder mounting — in your existing rack or a small wall-mount enclosure if you don't have one
Where the Lines Are
We're cabling specialists, not a turnkey security integrator. That means:
- We handle: all the physical cable runs, terminations, mounting hardware, conduit, surge protection, PoE switch / NVR placement, link verification
- Your security integrator (or IT team) handles: camera selection, camera commissioning, NVR / VMS software configuration, recording retention policy, viewing app setup
If you don't have a security integrator yet, we can recommend partners we work with regularly across West Tennessee. We typically end up running the cable for projects where a property owner has hired their own integrator and just needs the trades coordinated, or where a GC has a cabling subcontractor (us) and a separate camera subcontractor.
Cameras We've Cabled
Hikvision, Axis, Hanwha (Wisenet), Avigilon, Dahua, Verkada, Lorex commercial lines, Ring/Nest commercial. The cable's the same regardless of vendor — the camera config is what varies.
